Welcome

Hello! My name is Mrs. S, and this is our 4th grade classroom blog! We are going to use it as part of our English Language Arts program, and we plan to have literature discussions on here. Sometimes we will be discussing books as a whole class, and sometimes different reading groups will be leaving comments about the book they are reading in their group.  I think this is going to be a fun way for us to discuss the books we read! Only my class may comment, but parents may view and read our blog also. Parents, we hope you will!

Of course, safety is of utmost importance. I have discussed with my students how important it is to remain anonymous when posting anything online. I have included five rules on this blog, but I just want to reiterate that students should only use their first name when commenting. Also, I view all posts before they are actually posted to the site, just to make sure they are safe.
